Learn to Paddle Program
Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan (CKS) is committed to supporting and inspiring a passion for paddling in communities across the province.
The Learn to Paddle (LTP) program partners with organizations, community groups, and outdoor programs that may not have existing paddling infrastructure to create engaging introductory paddling experiences. The program emphasizes accessibility and is dedicated to reaching diverse and underserved audiences through inclusive programming.

What Happens at a LTP Workshop?
CKS works with our partner organizations in each community to tailor every session to the needs and interests of the group.
Participants learn basic safety and technical skills in a fun and welcoming environment that inspires and encourages a lifelong love of paddling. CKS brings all necessary equipment including boats, paddles, and safety gear alongside trained and experienced instructors to guide participants through the session, teaching these skills.
A LTP workshop can even be the first step to establishing a new local paddling club, a process that CKS is eager to support!
